Sharon met with representatives from the Joint Epilepsy Council to discuss how the Special Educational Needs (Information) Bill could help children who have epilepsy. There is a lot of work to be done in order to raise the profile of epilepsy and to ensure that those who have the condition receive any extra support which they may need. Every year there are preventable deaths from the condition and educating the public about the realities of life with epilepsy. ........................
