Sharon had the chance to attend a reception in Parliament on Wednesday to lend her support to Beating Bowel Cancer, one of the leading charities in the UK which raises awareness of bowel cancer. The event was an interesting opportunity to hear about the work they do and hear from some of the key medical professionals and parliamentarians who are looking to raise the profile of the disease.
