Sharon Hodgson MP has shown her support for improving UK one-year survival rates while attending an All-Party Parliamentary Group on Cancer (APPGC) event in Parliament.

During a statement on Child Poverty on Wednesday 1st July, Sharon Hodgson MP raised how important investment in early years, including Sure Start Centres, can be to helping transform the lives of disadvantaged children and helping lift children out of poverty.

At a reception at the Houses of Parliament, Sharon Hodgson MP, a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Autism (APPGA), pledged to promote more autism awareness in Washington and Sunderland West.

Sharon Hodgson has thanked staff and volunteers at Citizens' Advice Sunderland for providing constituents with the advice and support they need to solve their problems.
