Sharon recently spoke at and hosted Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s annual Parliamentary reception.

The event was an opportunity for Sharon, as an officer of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Breast Cancer, to encourage MPs to sign up to the group and raise awareness of current issues surrounding the disease.

The event also heard from Paul Burstow MP, Health Minister, and Andy Burnham MP, the Shadow Health Secretary, who praised the work which Breakthrough Breast Cancer is doing to support the thousands of women diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
