Sharon was at the re-opening of the Children’s Society shop in Washington to cut the ribbon and show her support. The new look means that the shop is a brighter more inviting place for customers and staff alike. Local residents are being encouraged to bring along their unwanted items, as well as volunteer if they want to lend a hand. The Washington shop originally opened its doors in 1987, making this year its 23rd year.
