On Tuesday members of the Communication Workers Union came to Parliament to lobby MPs about the issues facing Royal Mail, particularly its pension deficit. They were keen for the Government to take action to deal with the problem, particularly now that controversial plans to privatise Royal Mail have been shelved. Sharon was interested to hear about the issues facing workers’ pensions in the Royal Mail at the moment and is keen to be updated on the progress the Government makes in this area.
