Sharon was a guest at the National Deaf Children's Society reception in Parliament.

Deaf children are amongst the millions of children who stand to benefit from Sharon's Special Educatinal Needs (Information) Bill. Sharon discussed a number of issues facing the deaf community including concerns over changes to the exam system which would mean that disabled pupils would have exam certificates which listed the parts of an exam they were unable to complete.
