Lunch with ABPI Pharmaceutical Group

Sharon joined other MPs from across the North East region at a buffet lunch which was held in Parliament by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry. The pharmaceutical industry is one of the biggest in Britain and it helps to keep us at the forefront of innovation in medicine worldwide. Sharon was particularly keen to discuss the development of new cancer drugs and was in which these can be made more accessible to patients in the North East and the rest of the country.
