School Meals Campaign Group is formed

Sharon and Roberta Blackman Woods Mp attended a meeting to discuss the formation of a campaign group to push for free school meals across Parliament. The meeting was attended by Trade Unions and major national charities. A strategy was discussed to highlight the aims and objectives of the group and work will get underway when Parliament returns in october. Sharon said " This is a very exciting development. It shows that we have created a groundswell of support for Free School Meals and can now convert that into sustained pressure on Ministers to deliver progress sooner rather than later."
