Sharon was privileged to be able to meet with Holocaust survivor Zigi Shipper in St Robert of Newminster school in Washington as part of an initiative run by the Holocaust Educational Trust. Zigi gave a talk about his experience, followed by a chance for pupils to ask him questions. Sharon was impressed by the standard of questions asked by the pupils, and is keen to continue to work with the Holocaust Educational Trust in order that the Holocaust is not forgotten about by young people.
