Last Wednesday Sharon attended the launch of the Sunbeds Bill, a Private Members Bill tabled by MP Julie Morgan and supported by Cancer Research UK. The bill would make it illegal for tanning salons to let under-18 year olds to use their sunbeds. MPs were told how thousands of children put their lives at risk by using sunbeds at such an early age, with their use being linked to the development of skin cancer. Having campaigned on various cancer-related issues in the past, Sharon was delighted to be able to support the bill.
