Last Wednesday Sharon attended a reception in Parliament by the London 2012 Organising Committee, which aimed to inform MPs of progress on the games so far and give them an opportunity to find our more about how the games would impact their own areas. Sharon is excited by the impact the games will on the North East, which stands to benefit greatly from the 2012 Olympic Games.
