New Sports Court proving popular with Blackfell pupils

The court is suitable for a number of different sports and accessible for all pupils at Blackfell Primary School. The court was funded with a grant from the Big Lottery Fund.

Mrs Hodgson said:

“I’m really pleased these new facilities are available to the local kids. No matter what sports they want to try and improve at they have somewhere they can go and practice the key skills needed.”

Local Councillor Bernie Scaplehorn said:

“It’s great that we got the grant and I’m pleased to see that the kids have really set out to grasp the opportunities the court provides. Who knows, we might get one or two sporting stars coming from Blackfell in the future!”
