At the end of April Sharon attended the groundbreaking ceremony at Nissan in Washington for the construction of the new battery plant. The company recently announced that the Washington plant would be producing the new Nissan Leaf, and the construction of this new plant is the first step along the way. Sharon is optimistic about the future of the plant, and was delighted to be there for such an important occasion.
