Sharon Hodgson was once again proud to attend the Sunderland Concert of remembrance at the Seaburn Centre.

The concert, hosted by Tyne Tees Television presenter Jonathan Morrell, featured performances by The Light Cavalry Band, St Cuthbert's Primary School Choir, the very popular Borneo Band and Bugles, Durham Constabulary Choir, Soprano Theresa Dewhurst.

The evening ended with a poignant poppy drop, with standards from Her Majesty's Forces, the Emergency Services and the Standards of the Royal British Legion and the ex-services' associations, in memory of all those who have died in conflicts past and present.
