Government Cycle and Walking Strategy Safety Review Consultation 2018 - Call for Evidence

Government Call for Evidence.

The Government has recently launched a consultation on how to improve safety for all road uses and boost active travel.

They are hoping to re-cast their approach and encourage more people to walk and cycle.

As the Shadow Minister for Public Health, I recognise the vast benefits that increased levels of walking and cycling can bring, not only to individuals but also for the wider environment.

I would encourage constituents to take part in the consultation, to make sure the evidence is as comprehensive as possible.
