As part of National Postal Workers’ Day, and in the lead up to their busiest time of year, Sharon visited Royal Mail's Washington delivery office to meet staff and congratulate them on their hard work throughout the year.

Christmas is Royal Mail’s busiest time of the year.  Sharon was shown around the delivery office and introduced to the postal workers working hard sorting and delivering mail in the Washington area during the Festive season.

Sharon, said: “There is a huge amount of effort and dedication that goes into delivering a first class Christmas at Royal Mail’s busiest time of year.  It was great to meet the team here at Washington."

“Our postal workers do such an important job at this time of year and I would like to thank them for their efforts and wish them all the best over the busy festive period.”
