Sharon was asked to address professionals and carers at a conference arranged by Sunderland Carers Centre.

As someone who has actively campaigned for greater support for those providing care for their relatives and loved ones, including tabling, backing and pressing Ministers for new legislation which was eventually included in the Children and Families Act and Care Act, Sharon was asked to address local carers and those who have a role in identifying and supporting them.
