Sharon called a debate to discuss ticket touting and the work of the new APPG on Ticket Abuse, which she co-Chairs.
In opening the debate, Sharon once again took the opportunity to outline the problems with the secondary ticketing market, and in particular the complete lack of transparency when it comes to information central to consumers making an informed choice - such as the face value and seat numbers of the tickets they are buying, as well as who they are buying from.
She also informed members of the upcoming inquiry into the market being held under the auspices of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ticket Abuse, and encouraged their participation.
