Sharon spoke to young people and those who work with them at a conference organised by Washington Mind to coincide with #WorldMentalHealthDay.

Sharon attends prestigious BP Portrait Awards Exhibition launch at The Sunderland Museum and Art Gallery.  Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens is the only English venue outside London to host the 2014 BP Portrait Award.  The contest is now in its 35th year.

Sharon joined Sunderland Deputy Mayor, Cllr Barry Curran and the Washington Women's Institute, at Washington Millenium Centre today to help celebrate the 50th birthday of Washington New Town.

Sharon was asked to address professionals and carers at a conference arranged by Sunderland Carers Centre.

Sharon met with Hewlett Packard staff based at HMRC's Durham House office in Washington to see a new poster featuring them currently adorning the walls of Westminster Underground Station.
